1. Building off the introductory paragraph you wrote for WIG 1, write the next paragraph to follow it. You will have two fully written paragraphs. 

2. Submit a Word Document that is consistent with APA 7th edition guidelines. Be sure to include a title page and your first two paragraphs that you have wrote for the Writing Improvement Guidelines. No abstract page is needed for this assignment. 

3. Within your two written paragraphs, provide appropriate citations as follows: 

* utilize at least one citation that begins a sentence 

(e.g. Nelson (2024) suggested that students adhere to deadlines to keep track of work submitted.)

*utilize at least two citations that are cited using parenthetical citations within a sentence OR at the end of a sentence

(e.g. Research indicates lower levels of stress (Nelson, 2024) when students adhere to deadlines for the duration of the semester) 

(e.g. Research indicates lower levels of stress when students adhere to deadlines to keep track of their work so that they do not need extensions (Nelson, 2024). 

*have at least one sentence where two or more citations are used within a single set of parentheses

(e.g. Students are allowed flexibility in the due dates of their assignments, although instructors recommend that students adhere to the guidelines (Gainer, 2024; Joshi, 2023; Nelson, 2024)

4. Reference list must include at least 5 references in total, with at least one journal article, at least one book, and at least one book chapter.

-be sure all references listed on reference page are included in the body of the text

-be sure all references in the body of the text are listed on the reference page

-use of DOI urls for journal articles

-references listed alphabetically
