For this assignment, you have been asked to brief members of the Department of Homeland Security, the Intelligence Community (IC), and the Tribal Advisory Council on policy issues for critical infrastructure and on skills, roles, and actions in homeland security to protect critical infrastructure. You will need to support your responses to the following prompts with scholarly or credible sources. Again, you have been asked to include audio narration in your presentation.
Format: For each slide, there will be two content areas: the slide itself and the “notes” section corresponding to each slide.
· Slide content: As you prepare your slides, follow guidance from the University of Arizona Global Campus Writing Center on PowerPoint presentations.
· Narration with script: For each slide, prepare a script and place the script in the “notes” section corresponding to each slide. Record your voice reading the script word for word for each slide. This will support accessibility for those attending your presentation.
In your slide presentation,
· Analyze the responsibilities and functions of a federal agency or organization for each of the following: border security, transportation security, and port security.
· Examine planning, risks, and policy issues for homeland security and society for the protection of critical infrastructure.
· Evaluate methods and effectiveness of response systems for two DHS cases (choose two) from the following areas: border security, transportation security, and critical infrastructure protection.
· Explain skills necessary for members of an agency or organization for one of the following: border security, transportation security, port security, or critical infrastructure protection.
· Assess social justice, ethical, and legal issues in homeland security for one of the following: border security, immigration, or transportation security.
The slide presentation
· must be six to seven double-spaced slides in length (not including title and references slides)
