Overview
You have been asked to develop a recommendation on how to enhance innovative
technology approaches to address community issues. You will explore new technologies
or techniques for your organization or community and identify gaps in services to meet
the needs of the at-risk population of your choice. You will list more than one client
system, such as families and groups, or groups and organizations, and examine which
technologies and innovative practices are useful to all of your client systems and which
technology and innovative applications might better meet your client systems’ needs. You
will create a concept map and analysis summary to develop these recommendations.
In your map, include your client systems and the community issue they face, explore forms
of technology used to support the client systems or programs to support these clients, and
provide a recommendation of an innovative form of technology. Include an assessment of
that technology’s benefits, ethical considerations, cultural and diversity considerations,
barriers, and potential benefits. Please refer to the following for an example of a
completed concept map:

Instructions
1. In the concept map, provide at a minimum:
○ The client system you are addressing.
○ The community issues the clients face.
○ A minimum of three forms of technology that could support the
client’s systems or agencies providing services to the clients.
○ A recommendation of at least one of these forms of technology with
evidence on why you are making that recommendation.
2. You will then provide a 3 page, APA-formatted analysis summary (on a Word
document) that expands on the concept map. This analysis should include a
justification of the recommendations to support more than one mezzo-level
client system, such as families and groups, groups and organizations, or
organizations and communities. In your justification, include ethical and
cultural, diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations, research-based
limitations and potential benefits, and leadership strategies to implement this
innovative technology.
