This condition represents a rare/common disease primarily impacting children. This condition manifests as (describe condition and what is found or experienced if the child has condition). Virus or bacteria is involved in the pathogenesis.

The purpose of this paper is to review the condition of “insert condition” and describe manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment modalities in the pediatric patient.

Presentation of Condition

Children with “insert condition here” often display certain signs and symptoms such as “insert signs and symptoms experienced here” and fever.

This disease results from an infection with bacteria/virus (can describe the name of the viral or bacterium OR describe the etiology). This infection results in a “describe presentation”. Is the condition contagious? Describe here.

Diagnosis of Condition

Diagnosis requires evaluation of the patient’s history, including any recent illnesses, and a physical examination.
