Please review the strategic plans for a company or organization that reflects
a global perspective. Choose an organization you have you
particularly admire. Your review should focus on the following points:
• Identify academic sources that will lend depth and validity to the capstone project.
• Identify the major types of HR activities the organization is engaging in, how much and how
often, and their estimated costs and benefits.
• Identifying how much these HR activities match the strategic goals of the company or
organization, including global initiatives.
• Analyze the outcomes of the project description and literature review.
• Recommendations on how the organization could better match its HR activities with its strategic
objectives to improve performance and quality (including the costs and/or estimated future
benefits).

• Format per the APA Guidelines

Table of contents (1-2 pages) and

Introduction (1-2 pages)

HR Organizational Plan Objectives (2-3 pages)
• Describe the central problem, challenge, opportunity, or issue that will be addressed and
why this subject was chosen. Explain the objectives and what the plan will examine. Define
the limits of this research – what will be covered, as well as what is beyond the scope of
this plan.

HR Action Plan (2-3 pages)
• Purpose: To convince readers that this is a worthwhile topic.
• Explain what can be gained and learned from a study like this. Why is this topic an
important subject to research? Address each of the following three areas. Consider making
these as subheadings.
1. Why is the topic significant to the writer?
2. Why is it significant to the department, division, company, sister companies,
alliances, major stakeholders, etc.?
3. Does the topic have broader implications for:
a. The larger industry of which it is a part?
b. Global significance?

Steps to Implement and Evaluate the HR Plan

• Purpose: To present the organization or industry overview as pertinent to the project topic.
• Here, the organization or industry overview, as pertinent to the project topic, is presented.
It can begin with some information on the organization/industry itself to set the context of
the case. Then, it should briefly focus on the topic of your project and how your topic’s
solutions or recommendations will have a potential impact.

Conclusion (1-2 pages)
• Conclude this section with a description of the research gathered and analyze outcomes
briefly
The range for the above narrative content is 7-12 pages, not including the cover page, table of

References:
contents, references, and appendices. When ending on a page, there must be a minimum 3/4
content on that section topic
