Case study
XYZ Corporation is a leading technology company known for innovation and excellence. However,
recent employee engagement surveys indicate growing disengagement among employees, leading to
declining productivity and morale. The HR department has identified that employees feel unheard, lack
trust in leadership, and believe the reward system is unfair.
Scenario:
Sarah, a mid-level manager at XYZ Corporation, has noticed that her team is divided into three
categories:
1. Engaged Employees – Passionate, innovative, and eager to contribute beyond their job roles.
2. Not Engaged Employees – Show up, complete tasks, but lack motivation and commitment.
3. Actively Disengaged Employees – Display negative behavior, resist new initiatives, and spread
dissatisfaction.
Recently, Sarah was informed that some employees are receiving incentives based solely on sales
performance rather than ethical behavior and teamwork. She also discovered that her team’s feedback
about improving company culture is often ignored by senior management.
Based on the above case study answer the following questions:
