On page 1023, describe the passage that starts with “the aristoliene approach to business ethic, rather begins…… explain this is 100 words and answer this person who responded “
This is such a powerful statement. Virtue, goodness, and integrity are just as much a responsibility of the corporation as they are of the individual. My opinion is this concept doesn’t exist in many large corporations, especially those that are publicly traded. And while it is possible for the individual to keep their integrity and virtue when working for a company with poor corporate policy, it is depleting and overwhelming and eventually results in burnout. Answer this is 50 words or less.
On page 1023, describe the passage that starts with “this emphasis on community, however, should not be taken………explain this in 100 words and answer this person who responded “
This push-pull tension between holding both community and individual with equal weight reminds me of what I am learning on a personal level re: boundaries and healthy relationships.
At the onset of engaging with boundaries, it is understandable, though incorrect, to believe that boundaries supersede relationships in importance. I wrestled with this as I learned to set firm boundaries with unhealthy relationships in my life. Over the years, I’ve been able to bring some subtlety and softness to those boundaries (firm, yet kind), bringing a more even balance between relationships and boundaries. I see the tension between community and individualism in a similar way here. Both are important, but finding the balance is the tricky part. Answer this in 50 words or less.
On page 2024, describe the first paragraph under Aristotle, Happiness, and Virtue that starts with “Aristotle’s central ethical concept…… in less than 100 words and answer this person responded in 50 words.
Is this the “final cause for Aristotle? This is eloquently explained and makes me think of our assignment to discover the final cause of leadership. I think about each of these goals, and how that would look like for an organization from the outside in, how that would make me feel as a follower at an organization with this kind of leadership and ultimately a great work life balance for all that is involved.
On page 1026, describe the passage that starts with “corporations are neither legal….. down to MacCloud, 1993 in 100 words.
Respond to this post….
in 50 words In my experience, those who see altruism as self-sacrifice live a very lonely and depressing existence. They are unable to fully appreciate the goodness that life has to offer and, as such, cannot comprehend when others can see that goodness.
