- You will write a general synopsis paper of the nature vs. nurture debate and how it relates to the field of developmental psychology.
- Paper should include the following: define nature vs. nurture, discuss why the debate exists, discuss how it relates to developmental psychology, and discuss which side of the debate you believe has a greater impact on an individual’s development (do you lean more nature or nurture?).
- Paper should be between 3-4 pages in length, not including title and reference pages. No abstract is required for this assignment.
- Paper should include a minimum of three references (your textbook can be one of them).
- Though the primary purpose of this paper will be to delve into the topic of nature vs. nurture, it is also going to be an opportunity to practice APA formatting.
- For this paper, APA errors will only slightly count against you, but for the Media Paper at the end of the semester as well as papers you may complete in later psychology courses, APA errors may make or break your grade. Use this opportunity to practice your APA skills and reference the included critiques once your graded paper is returned BEFORE starting the Media Paper.
