QI works to bring a clinic up to the current SOC. By comparison,research work to determine the efficacy of interven�on thus define a new SOC• State the project goal/aimo Our goal is (insert goal/ aim). Our target popula�on is the pa�ents cared for by (insert team). Define your target popula�on.• Method of data collec�on• Endpointo How will the QI benefit the ins�tu�on? If there is no benefit to the ins�tu�on then it, is not a quality improvement. It is not enough to say the ins�tu�on may benefit. We need to know how it will benefit.
