Instructions: Please read each section carefully and respond thoughtfully in the spaces provided. This worksheet is designed to help you explore a childhood memory through the lens of psychological theories of memory. Your responses should reflect your understanding of the memory processes discussed in the course:
encoding, storage, retrieval, and
memory accuracy. Be honest and reflective — there are no “right” or “wrong” answers.
A minimum of 50 words is required for memory selection question (1), memory analysis question (2), memory accuracy question (3) and impact of memory question. Students do not have to complete 50 words per question in each section.

Retrieval: How do you typically retrieve this memory? Is it vivid or fuzzy? Are there specific cues that bring it to mind?

Memory Accuracy: How accurate do you think this memory is? Could it include errors or embellishments? Use course concepts to support your thoughts.

Impact of Memory: How has this memory influenced you personally? Has it shaped your beliefs, emotions, or behaviors? Has this memory been discussed with others? If so, do you think those conversations have altered how you remember it?
