Podcast Review Rubric
The purpose of this paper is to write a 2-3 page double-spaced critical reflection on any one of the podcasts that we have listened to this semester. Please note that a critical reflection is not simply repeating what was already shared in the podcast; it should reflect your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions in response to the podcast. This is also not something that you should use AI to write for you.
Some questions to consider when writing your review include:
- In general, do you agree with the arguments made in the podcast? Why or why not?
- What about the podcast did you find particularly interesting?
- Critically thinking, in what ways does the podcast relate to the course content?
- How, if at all, did the podcast challenge the way you thought about a topic?
The questions above are not an exhaustive list, and you are free to include any other reflective thoughts related to the podcast. The questions above are simply suggestions for the types of content that would be included in a reflective essay. However, please use headings for each section of the paper, as it helps to guide the reader.
Please include an APA formatted title page with a title that helps the reader to know which podcast you selected for your review.
The rubric for your paper consists of only two sections:
- Essay adequately captures a reflection of the selected podcast (90 points)
- Spelling/grammar/syntax/APA format – paper is grammatically strong and reflects college-level writing. (10 points)
