Startup Business Plan for EcoBrew Café: A Sustainable Coffee Venture in Saudi
Arabia
1. Owners, Capital Structure, and Company Profile
EcoBrew Café is a small start-up located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which was
established with the idea of integrating the culture of coffee and sustainable practices.
The formal address will be King Fahd Road, Riyadh, and all business inquiries will be
made using the email address info2ecobrewcafe.com. The company will be registered as
a Limited Liability Company (LLC) because the legal organization will balance the
benefits of limited liability of the owners, flexibility in the management, and increased
chances to draw investors in the future. Two partners will be equal partners in the
business, in which they will contribute various expertises to the business. The initial
investment amount of SAR 750,000 will be used as start-up capital, covering the lease
and design of the cafe, purchase of green brewing machines, and stocks of organic raw
materials, promotional efforts, and adequate working capital to maintain operational
stability during the first year of operation.
2. Company Business Description
EcoBrew Café will be an entity with a promising growth in the hospitality and
food and beverage industry in Saudi Arabia, with a particular attention to sustainability
and environmentally friendly policies. The cafe will focus on selling high-quality organic
coffee, herbal teas and healthy foods and make sure that all the processes, including
packaging and supply chains, are ecologically friendly. In contrast to the classical coffee
stores, the image of EcoBrew Café will be based on environmental responsibility,
building a personal relationship with the community, and the development of new
rewards referral programs based on good ecological behavior.
The business concept focuses on the idea of transforming the process of coffee
drinking into a leisure activity that is socially responsible. As an example, when
customers bring reusable cups, they will be given a discount, with packaging being
biodegradable and being made by sustainable suppliers. Such an environmentally friendly
philosophy will be the distinguishing factor of the coffee shop in a highly competitive
market.
The EcoBrew Café mission statement is as follows:To be the provider of highquality, environmentally friendly coffee and encourage sustainability and community
welfare in Saudi Arabia. The short-term targets of the company are to open the cafe in
Riyadh in a year, create the brand awareness with the usage of the eco-event and online
marketing campaigns, and achieve the balance of SAR 100,000 income per month in six
months. In the long term, it is planned to expand to other cities (like Jeddah and
Dammam), implement a franchising concept, and, in the end, actually create a retail
product line with packaged organic coffee beans to be sold in supermarkets and online.
The young professionals, including the university students and eco-conscious
customers aged 18-35, will constitute the major part of the target market. Such customers
are a concentrated group in Riyadh and are drawn to the quality coffee experience,
appreciate greenery, and are prepared to support the businesses that reflect their personal
values and lifestyles.
The specialty coffee market in Saudi Arabia is expanding at a very rapid pace in
industrial terms due to urbanization, rising disposable income, and cultural shifts to
modern cafe lifestyles. It is a growing industry, and EcoBrew Café can tap into the rising
popularity of sustainability and well-being lifestyles. The most important strengths of the
company include the unique business model of the company predicated on sustainability,
the experience of the founders as professionals in hospitality management and digital
marketing, and the collaboration with local organic suppliers. These will also assist in
developing a sound brand and customer base.
The main strengths of the business outlined by SWOT analysis are related to the
sustainability, branding, and customer interaction, whereas the weaknesses consist of the
increased prices of procuring organic products and the inability to compete with existing
international brands. The opportunities can be seen in the increasing demand for specialty
coffee and environment-friendly substitutes, and the threats are price-sensitive customers
and intensive marketing of competitors, like Starbucks, Barnes, and local cafes. In order
to compete, EcoBrew Café will capitalize on its green brand, community development
activities in the area, and creative loyalty programs.
In conclusion, EcoBrew Café will change the coffee culture in Saudi Arabia
because it will introduce sustainability as a component of the daily consumption. The
idea of innovation, the powerful mission, and the clarity of its goals will not only benefit
its customers more, but also help achieve the general vision of environmental
accountability according to Saudi Vision 2030.
