Description of the project
For this group project, students will work in teams of four to five members. One member,
designated as the team leader, must post of Googlr classroom the the names of all team
members. Together, the team will collaborate to create a formal job description and job
specification following the provided guidelines. Once the report is completed, the team
leader will submit it through the LMS submission link. Please note that only one submission
per group is required. The deadlinefor submission is , November 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Project Description
Each team must select a specific job from a Saudi company and conduct an analysis to gather
the necessary details for preparing the job description and job specification. Every team
member should take on the role of a job analyst hired by the company to study the chosen
position and develop the required documents. After completing the analysis, the team
should respond to two reflection questions about the job analysis process. It is recommended
to distribute the tasks evenly among all members to ensure active participation from
everyone in the project
Project Report Structure
Your group report should be organized according to the following structure:
1. Title Page
Include all relevant details such as the names and student IDs of team members, course name
and code, submission date, and the total word count.
2. Job Title
State the title of the job selected for analysis.
3. Job Summary (100 words)
Provide a brief overview of the selected job in 2–3 sentences, summarizing its main purpose
and scope.
4. Relationships (100 words)
Describe the job’s reporting relationships, working relationships, and any external
interactions required for the role.
5. Responsibilities (200 words)
List and explain ten key responsibilities that define what the job holder is expected to
accomplish.
6. KSAs (100 words)
Outline the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) needed for the role. Include details such
as educational background, experience, and any physical or intellectual capabilities required.
7. The Job Analysis Process (400 words)
Discuss the steps your team followed during the job analysis. Explain how information was
collected, who was involved, and what challenges your team encountered.
8. The Importance of Job Analysis (300 words)
Explain the value and benefits of conducting job analysis for the selected Saudi company.
Justify why it is essential for effective HR management and decision-making.
9. The Best Pay Structure (300 words)
Analyze which pay structure (job-based or person-based) would best suit the selected company
and explain why this approach is most appropriate.
10. Reference List
Provide a complete list of references used in your report. Ensure proper in-text citations and
that all sources follow an appropriate academic referencing style.
Project Requirements

This project carries a total of 15 marks.+ 5 marks presentation
2.
Only one submission per team is required. The team leader must upload the report
through the LMS submission link. Individual submissions from other members are not
necessary.

The submission deadline is November 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

A 10% mark deduction will apply for each day of late submission. Reports
submitted more than five days latewill not be accepted or graded.
5.
This is a group project, and all members must actively contribute.
6.
Non-participating members will receive a zero mark.
7.

The report must be free from spelling, grammar, and formatting errors.
9.
Proper citation and referencing are mandatory. Any information or ideas taken from

11. Headings must be in bold and use font size 14.
12. Use 1.5 line spacing and left alignment throughout the document.

the course slides, textbook, reference materials, and credible online sources.
