DQ1 Response to peer Katie Mayorga
My selected video was over navigating. I found this video provided a decent amount of overview into properly navigating the LMS, including class calendar, discussion boards, the syllabus, just to name a few. I found it particularly useful to learn that I can view upcoming assignments and participation tasks all in one place, this will benefit me with organization needs as well as proper management of time while staying engaged in my learning (Casale et al., 2025). My goal is to set a realistic habit of daily LMS checks to ensure deadlines are adhered to and no class activities are overlooked and or missed. These video tutorials, especially the one in question, presents a level of comfort for future times of uncertainties, if guidance is needed, I will have the ability to refer back to the videos. In all honestly, with my busy day to day schedule, this will be extremely helpful. Understanding my resources and proper navigation of such, is essential for my academic success and remote learning (Johnson et al., 2020).
