Format of your case study (the case study contains at minimum the five elements below):

Introduction: Introduce your case study and identify the key issues of your case study and try to formulate a thesis/ purpose statement and summarize the outcome of your analysis.
2.
Background: Provide background information (facts and assumptions)
3.
Analysis: Here is where you will conduct your analysis/
answer the specific questions associated with the case study
You must have a minimum of one in-text citation reference per question from the course readings.
4.
Recommendations: Address what could have been done different using a sergeant major’s perspective and how can you develop members of your organization to prevent these types of actions (this is a key component of the case study). A good technique would be to revisit each question and provide a recommendation.
5.
Reference page: A properly formatted reference page IAW APA 7 standards.

This case study writing assignment analyzes leadership doctrine and concepts from the S101 – The Evolving Role of the Noncommissioned Officer in the American Military Experience, S201 – Army Leadership and the Profession, S202 – American Civil Military Relations, S203 – Developing Organizations and Leaders, S204 – Organizational Stress, S205 – Leadership and Mission Command, and S206 – Leadership in Irregular Warfare lessons.
Complete this assignment utilizing key language of the course material along with other sources
. The word count for this case study is 1000 to 2000 words.
1. Identify some of the operational and combat stress reactions of the organization and what the SGM could have done to assist the commander in developing a resilient organization. Provide accurate and relevant examples to support your response.
2. Describe Irregular Warfare and how the actions of the organization have an impact on the local population and its ability to conduct operations. Provide accurate and relevant examples to support your response.
3. After examining this case study analyze and describe civil military relations and the role of the Sergeant Major in civil military relations. Finally describe how the Sergeant Major can assist in restoring military professionalism to the organization to gain the trust of the American people. Provide accurate and relevant examples to support your response.
