Complete the MBTI Personality Assessment AND Your Reflections / Comments (15 Points)
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is designed to help you identify and use your unique personality traits and Adult Learning Style.
If you’ve already identified your learning style in another course you do not need to do it again. It is a two-step process. First, you’ll click on the link below, which will take you to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator assessment. Using your Amberton email address, complete the questions and you’ll receive the MBTI Interpretive Report with your four-letter MBTI “Type”. The results will be sent to your Amberton email address; therefore, it is very important that you use your AMBERTON EMAIL ADDRESS (not your personal email address) to take the assessment. It may take several days for the report to be returned.
Second, log in to the AU Moodle Website and select “MBTI Student.” Here you will find your four letter MBTI Type corresponding to one of eight adult learning styles, such as Explorers or Visionaries.
1. Record several statements that you strongly agreed with or that “struck a chord” for you
2. Record several statements you are unsure about or thought were wrong
3. Ask someone who knows you very well to read an overview of your type and ask them if they agree with the type? If so, how? If not, why?
4. Record 3 strengths of your type you feel will be an asset in your career
5. Record 3 areas of your strength that may challenge your effectiveness in your career
6. Identify what you can do to develop or tackle your area of challenge
7. Submit a pdf of your MTBI Interpretive report with your reflection
