Instructions:
Working on CON GRAPH paper, sketch the following items to the best of your ability.
Draw to scale using a metric scale appropriate to the size of your paper (1:50 or smaller). Make sure to note the scale that you use on the sketch.
The perspective of the sketch is SECTION (cutting through) items. This is to be SIMILAR in appearance to any of the details shown on the page attached below (you are not being asked to copy the sample sketches).
Each of the materials specified below (bullet points) is a mark (10). Lettering is 5 marks, overall presentation and neatness 5 marks. Total 20 marks.

The elements that should appear in your sketch:Grade Beam:
300 x 900 deep concrete.
On 100 mm thick void form.
Reinforced with (r/w):
3 – 20 M @ top and bottom (T&B).
10 M ties @ 300 mm (implied by context) on center (o.c.).
15 M bent bars, 1000 x 450, @ 600 o.c. (connection to SOG).
Slab on Grade (SOG):
150 mm (deep or thick) concrete.
On 6 mil polythene vapour barrier (PVB).
On 150 mm (deep or thick) compacted granular.
R/W 10 M @ 600 o.c. each way (E/W) (creates a grid pattern).
Top of (T/O) slab is at the same elevation as the T/O grade beam.
Cast in Place (CIP) concrete piles:
600 diameter (dia.) straight shaft concrete pile.
