Using bedside shift change report as my topic Requirements:

10-20-page paper must be in APA format. One electronic copy of the paper is to be submitted via the online course assignments folder. Because of the amount of work involved in preparing the project, a large percent of the course grade is from this paper and the related presentation.

It is imperative that you begin to identify your project area soon after the first day of class. This is to ensure that you have adequate time to complete the assignment. You will be required to present your research paper to the class using a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation is also graded.

Briefly critique the articles reviewed including purpose, sample, and results. A summary of the indications of these articles should follow the critiques. If there is conflicting information, clearly articulate the issues. Approximately 10 articles should be included in the references with the majority being research articles.

Chapter III – Discussion and Application (40 Points)

Present a best practice recommendation based on the literature.

References (20 Points)

All references cited in the body of the paper must be listed. Only references cited in the body of the paper are to be listed. Only APA format is acceptable.
