Standardisation TaskHi there,
could you please write a standardisation task, 1000 to 1300 words. Please read the article of Bret Waldon as attached and standardise it. I want the task to be exactly as the sample task, which is attached. below is the summarise of how the task should be completed.
The Standardisation Task has three sections:
(1) First, standardise the argument of Waldon. [link here to standardisation argument tool if
you would like to use this] (no word limit)
(2)
Second, construct a standardised argument of your own, responding to Waldon’s
argument, and arguing for an opposing view. To develop your argument please draw on
at least two sources. You can use any sources you like, but some suggested options are
provided below. List the sources you use at the bottom of your assignment in a reference
list.
(3)
Third, write a 200-300 word reflection that answers two sets of questions.
[A] With reference to conservative and radical ideas, how did you choose to respond to
Waldon’s argument? Why did you choose to respond to the claim(s) you did? Did you just
respond to Waldon’s claims or have you introduced new kinds of reasons? Why did you
make that choice? Which parts of your argument need the most evidence and why?
[B] Did you use any technology in producing your argument? If so, what technology did
you use? (e.g., ChatGPT, Standardisation argument tool, etc. [if you used the argument
tool, please provide the URL in the reflection]) How did you use it? How did you make
sure you demonstrated epistemic responsibility in producing your work?
You must list your word count for this section, or you will be penalised.
