You are a consultant who has had an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist practice for five years. You are well-known as an employee engagement, motivation, and job satisfaction expert. A new client, who has many small clinics where there are 10 employees in each location. Due to recent growth in the organization and the demographically dispersed locations, employee satisfaction and motivation is low and employee stress is high. The owner is concerned and wants to continue growing; however, he knows this needs to be fixed before adding one more location. He has asked you to educate him on employee motivation, satisfaction, and engagement so that he can begin to address the issues.

Write a paper (1,650-2,000 words) that provides the owner with the research and education he needs at this point in his business. Use the following outline for this paper:

2. Analyze the factors that contribute to employee motivation, satisfaction and engagement.

3. Discuss how employee stress and low motivation can be influenced by the structure and culture of the organization.

4. Describe best practice strategies in employee engagement. If these strategies are followed, how might these best practices influence the employee satisfaction of all employees in the organization?

5. Provide an overview of various theories that educate your client on the issues he is having with his employees’ motivation, satisfaction, and engagement.

6. Develop initial recommendations that could assist the owner with some of his employee challenges so that he can start growing his company again.
