You are to summarize AND reflect on the Introduction within our textbook. Please read carefully the questions you are being asked to provide.
Give a brief summary and description of each of the domains found within the School Leadership Model. Follow the guidelines listed below:
- You need a cover page that is the approved WCU cover page. A sample is included in the Canvas shell.
- You should have an introductory paragraph that provides an overview of the School Leadership Model as stated in the required reading.
- Followed by brief paragraphs that provide a description of each domain. This paragraph should be written in the third person. You should not use I, me, my, etc. when writing in the third person.
- You should have a concluding paragraph that reflects on what you learned in reading the Introduction; was it new information? Did you find it interesting? How will this information help prepare you as a future leader? This is where you give your personal (narrative, first-person) response.
- You also need a reference page.
Your assignment should follow APA format, using correct grammar and sentence structure, and be no more than two (2) pages long, excluding the cover and reference pages.
All writing should be in the third person, not the first person (If you do not know what this means, conduct a Google search to find out), except when writing a personal reflection or opinion.
Example:
First-Person-We, us, our, and ourselves are all first-person pronouns. Specifically, they are plural first-person pronouns. Singular first-person pronouns include I, me, my, mine, and myself.
Third-person personal pronouns include he, she, it, they, him, her, them, his, her, hers, its, their, and theirs. They also include the use of one, everyone, and anyone. Third-person is used in academic writing.
