COVID-19 Pandemic and Mental Health in KSA (110 points)
Examine how the COVID-19 Pandemic influenced patients with mental health disorders and their treatment plans. Use this week’s required readings, recommended readings, the textbook and your own research to develop a PowerPoint presentation describing:
An overview of symptoms, risk factors, and prevalence of mental health disease in KSA
Best practices for diagnosis, early identification, and treatment of mental illness in a pandemic
What are the contemporary and future challenges related to the healthcare system management of this mental illness in a pandemic?
- Recommendations on how to address these challenges going forward.
- Your presentation should meet the following structural requirements:
- Be 10-12 slides in length, not including the title or reference slides.
- Be formatted according to Saudi Electronic University and APA writing guidelines.
Provide support for your statements with citations from a minimum of six scholarly articles. These citations should be listed in the Notes section of the slide in which they appear. Two of these sources may be from the class readings, textbook, or lectures, but four must be external.
Each slide must provide detailed speaker’s notes to support the slide content. These should be a minimum of 100 words long (per slide) and must be a part of the presentation. The presentation cannot be submitted in PDF format, which does not make notes visible to the instructor. Notes must draw from and cite relevant reference materials.

Each question or reflection should be answered with at least one paragraph of text discussing your findings.
Cite the article and video in the text of your answer and list both sources of the reference page.

- Within the principles of the content theories of Maslow, Herzberg, and Alderfer:
Explain why Susan is behaving the way she has been over the past three months.
Offer three specific recommendations to address the problem of Susan’s job performance.
- Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
- Four-to-five pages in length, not including the cover sheet and reference page.
- Formatted according to APA 7th edition and Saudi Electronic University writing standards.
- Provide support for your statements with in-text citations from a minimum of four scholarly articles. Two of these sources may be from the class readings, textbook, or lectures, but the other two must be external. The Saudi Digital Library is a good place to find these references.

Examining Laws in Saudi Arabia (110 points) 4file
Locate three current laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that impact healthcare in the country. For example, the right to healthcare is stipulated in Article 27 and 31 of the Basic Laws of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health issued a Patient’s Bill of Rights (PBR) in 2006. Do not use these examples in your research.
Write a 4–5-page paper detailing the laws you have located and researched.
Your paper should address the following substantive requirements:
The code and section where these laws were located.
The goal and purpose of each law.
How these laws might improve health in the Kingdom
Any concerns or issues with these laws.
