In recent years there has been an effort to control costs, increase access, and improve the delivery of health care for better health outcomes for all populations. These efforts have resulted in an emphasis being placed on the measurement of quality. In collaboration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the National Quality Forum (NQF), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and other organizations instituted requirements for public reporting of quality indicators. Imagine you are tasked with developing a communication tool to inform guests and patients in hospital settings about the quality indicators which are measured and publicly reported and where more information can be found. For this assignment,
- Create an Infographic indicating some of the quality indicators measured and publicly reported by hospitals, where more information can be found, and contact information for questions. This infographic is education for the public so that they will have a better understanding of quality indicators measured by an organization. The Quality Indicators and Public Reporting Infographic must include:
- list 3 or 4 quality indicators measured and publicly reported by hospitals.
- Describe where to find more information about quality indicators.
- Discuss contact information for questions regarding quality indicators.
- must include a separate title page with the following in title case:
- title of infographic in bold font
- Space should appear between the title and the rest of the information on the title page.
- student’s name

- instructor’s name
