The final research paper should address an administrative issue in policing, courts, corrections, or probation/parole.

Follow the required outline for the final research paper:
1.  Introduction – what is the theory or thesis and what is the importance of this topic?
2.  Review of the relevant literature of the topic.
3. What are the relevant issues and what is/are the logical, evidence-based conclusions you can draw?
4. Recommendations for change?

The paper should contain a minimum of 2000 words (not including the title page and reference page), one-inch margins, double-spaced and composed using the Times New Roman 12-point format. The final paper should include a minimum of 10 outside references/sources, in-text citations and be written in APA 7th edition format

Choose a topic covered in this class and write an essay delving deeper into it. For example, you may want to expand your discussion on sustainability ethics to explore their impact on the environment. Your topic should be specific rather than broad. Focusing on a specific topic also allows you to find relevant data more easily, whether from the text or other credible sources. Use the concepts and perspectives from the textbook, although you can include additional references if needed.
