This week’s assignment involves a case study on the Trait Approach from which you will create a minimum 5-full-page analytical essay. The purpose of this exercise is to encourage you to organize scholarly sources and to discern the best scholarly sources for forming an argument and conducting an analysis of a leadership topic. You should find at least four (4) peer-reviewed articles in addition to any assigned readings.
To begin, choose one of the three case studies from Chapter 2 in your textbook (p. 45-50). Read the case study and write an analytical essay. Your essay should offer an argument (or claim) about the sources you are analyzing. Therefore, you will need to ground your essay using a thesis statement (serving as a claim) and then build an argument supporting the claim. Integrate information from the case and at least four other credible peer-reviewed journal articles. All sources should be less than five years old.
Your essay should have:
1. an introduction containing the argument or claim;
2. body paragraphs provide an argument supporting the claim using cited evidence and vital information; and
3. a robust conclusion drawing together all the points supporting your claim.
Remember to use APA-level headings, as needed.

In addition to the assigned reading, you should conduct your own research using the university library. Sources should be peer-reviewed (academic literature) and must not be older than five (5) years. You should find at least four (4) peer-reviewed articles in addition to any assigned readings. Support your work with APA formatted cites and references. The references will appear on their own page(s) and the page count does not include the cover page or reference section.
