What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
I actively participated in a number of important tasks in the
finance department during this month. Reviewing vacation
requests from employees and processing final exits were
among my responsibilities in order to make sure that all
processes complied with labor laws and business policies. As
part of the employee salary review process, I also verified the
accuracy and consistency of payroll data. By gathering
financial information, confirming entries, and formatting the
reports for submission, I also helped with the preparation of
periodic financial reports. Making sure that every accounting
transaction was accurately recorded, categorized under the
appropriate accounts, and entered on time was a crucial
aspect of my job.
What skills did you learn through the month?
Throughout the month, I acquired useful skills that advanced
my career development. I improved my analytical and
meticulous skills, especially when handling payroll and
vacation data. By practicing using accounting software to
record transactions, I also improved my technical skills. By
juggling several tasks and meeting deadlines, I also enhanced
my organizational and time management skills.
How many meetings did you attend?
This month, I went to three meetings. Departmental briefings
on financial updates, a joint session on the salary review
process, along with a policy discussion on employee vacation
and exit procedures were all part of these meetings. I learned
about the department’s financial decision-making process
through the meetings.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Learning how to use the accounting software efficiently and
comprehending the specific company policies pertaining to
employee benefits and departures were the biggest obstacles I
faced. Applying policy guidelines and navigating the system
felt overwhelming at first.
How did you overcome these difficulties?

My supervisor and co-workers helped me overcome these
obstacles by offering insightful explanations and examples.
Additionally, I spent more time honing my skills with the
accounting software, which progressively increased my
efficiency and confidence. I studied the company’s internal
manuals and reference materials to address the policy-related
issues, which helped me comprehend the procedures better.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
I discovered the value of accuracy, privacy, and conformity
in accounting and finance by finishing the tasks I was given.
Additionally, I became aware of the close connection
between the finance and human resources departments,
particularly with regard to payroll and employee departures.
These encounters made me more aware of the direct impact
that financial accuracy has on staff members and the
organization overall.
What did you want to learn more?
I want to learn more about advanced financial analysis
methods like variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Furthermore, I’m curious to find out how management uses
financial reports to aid in long-term organizational planning
and decision-making.

Chapter 2: Internship activities
This is the main body of your report. During the internship period, the focus of the training may on the
following types of analysis and questions. You do not have to answer all the questions in the list: •
Describe your working conditions and functions, such as: Who is your supervisor (include his/her name
and his/her position); other team members or co-workers and what their functions are to complement
yours.
• Provide a detailed description about the department(s) that the trainee did her/his training with them.
Adding all sub-divisions for this department(s) if it is available. Student can add to this description a

• Detailed descriptions about all tasks and activities that the trainee did them during her/his training

Throughout the month, I went to three meetings. A
departmental financial meeting to examine a payroll review
meeting, monthly performance, as well as a coordination
meeting with the HR department to discuss final settlements
and employee perks were among them.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Understanding the company’s internal financial as well as
accounting system processes during the first week was one of
the biggest obstacles I had to overcome. Due to a lack of
system knowledge, processing transactions and correctly
verifying payroll information was initially challenging.

By asking my boss and co-workers for advice, taking notes
during training, and performing daily duties until I felt at
ease using the system, I was able to overcome these

financial reporting effectiveness.

What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
I was given a number of important tasks in the finance
department during this month. Reviewing employee vacation
and final exit settlements to make sure they complied with
labor laws and company policies was one of my main
responsibilities. By confirming payroll accuracy, deductions,

and benefits, I also helped with the employee salary review
process. I also contributed to the creation of regular
management and financial reports that offered information on
departmental spending and budget utilization. Recording
daily accounting transactions in the business’s accounting
system while making sure each entry was backed up by the
proper paperwork and compliant with accounting standards
was another significant task.
What skills did you learn through the month?
I gained a number of technical and practical skills during the

Excel to create periodic reports, effectively summarizing
financial data using formulas, pivot tables, as well as
formatting techniques. I also gained a better understanding of
the relationship between accounting and human resources in
organizational finance by interpreting HR-related financial
transactions.
How many meetings did you attend?
This month, I went to three meetings in total. To discuss
updates on employee final settlements, the HR and finance
teams met for the first time. I gained knowledge of data

meeting, which was centered on creating the monthly
financial report. The upcoming quarterly audit and how to
arrange supporting financial documents for review were the
topics of the third meeting.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Understanding the company’s accounting system and chart of
accounts during the first few weeks was one of the biggest

and employee satisfaction. Additionally, I had trouble
deciphering some of the financial codes utilized for internal
transactions, necessitating further explanations from senior
accountants.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
By asking my manager and other team members for advice, I
was able to overcome these obstacles. In order to
comprehend standard procedures, I went over prior financial
reports and payroll summaries. I also spent more time getting
acquainted with the accounting software through practical
exercises and online tutorials. Asking questions and checking
unsure entries before posting helped me progressively gain
confidence in my ability to complete the tasks correctly.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
I gained knowledge about how to use accounting concepts in
a practical organizational context by finishing these
assignments. I acquired expertise in financial reporting,

What did you want to learn more?
I’d like to know more about budgeting and financial analysis,
particularly how businesses project their expenses and
income. In order to guarantee financial compliance, I would
also like to learn more about internal control systems and
audit preparation. In order to increase productivity and
reporting accuracy, I also intend to become more proficient
with accounting software and advanced Excel functions.
