Analysis Paper required for a University 3rd Year Political Studies course.
Topic: Do the CIA’s controversial covert operations and regime changes prioritize short-term geopolitical gains at the cost of long-term global stability and ethical accountability.
Length: ~2000 words, or approx. 8-10 pages double-spaced, thesis to be included as well.
Bibliography required: Minimum of 8-10 sources. (Most of them should be Peer-reviewed and primary sources)
Note: The paper should not be a regurgitation of content but make ityour own, to a degree, by taking a position or making a claim on the issue/topic. This isn’t a long paper, so you’ll need to be precise with everything you include. This in itself is a worthwhile skill to develop as you are deliberate with each sentence and claim you make in an effort to condense a lot of content
IMPORTANT: Work will be evaluated based on your structure and how you organize what you’re trying to say, theeffectiveness of your claims and insights, your writing (its cleanliness and flow), your research and how itis cited and used, as well as the basics (the quality and presentation of your thesis, writing errors andawkward sentences, an apt conclusion, consistency in your citation style and formatting, and howeffective your cohesive argument is altogether.
