Annual Report

Redesign a print ready Annual Report for Bahrain Polytechnic 2025
based on a concept for a target audience. You will submit the
following:

1. Digital submission of the annual report

2. Process book PDF

The annual report should include the following sections (LO1):
– Cover
– Contents page
– About Bahrain Polytechnic
– Vision, mission and values
– Chairman’s statement
– CEO’s Statement
– Board of Trustees
– Executive Management
– Academic Development
– Financial Information

Minimum of 3 infographics should also be included. You may choose
any part of the annual report copy to do this (LO2).

Files will be submitted on Moodle.

VC7200 Visual Design III: Advanced Typography 04

• Size: A4.
• Orientation: Portrait OR landscape.
• No. of Pages: Minimum of 20 pages plus cover.

Process Book:
Research and analyse annual reports and their different sections
using proper design and typographic terminologies.

Brainstorm and sketch minimum of 3 different concepts based on
different target audiences. You can implement either one of these
visual approaches based on your target audience:
• Follow the brand guidelines found here

bh/about-us/our-brand/
• Use Bahrain Polytechnic’s color palette but with freedom in

choosing the typefaces and graphic elements.

Implement one of the concepts as your final design and reflect on
the process.

Remember!
• Your grid and guides must be evident in InDesign.
• You should use photographs or illustrations of your own.
• All files should be in CMYK color mode.
• Delete all unused swatches in all files.
• Images to be linked and text should outlined for the final digital

files.

in the fields indicated in red and sign it.

2. Process book PDF: research, analysis, ideation,
development, reflection.

3. High res PDF of a print ready annual report.
4. Packaged InDesign file of the final annual report

including an IDML format.
5. A separate file for each infographic (Packaged Illustrator

file and high Resolution PDF).
