UNIT 2 ASSIGNMENT
OFFICE SPACE FILM REVIEW
In the lecture notes for Unit 2, there is information regarding the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and a description of the four temperaments. You will have the opportunity to view the four temperaments in work-related situations by watching a film. You have the option to pick from three films:
1. Office Space by Mike Judge (1999)
. It is comedy rated R but it does have very brief nudity and some profanity.
OR
2. The Intern by Nancy Meyers (2015)

OR
3. Spotlight by Tom McCarthy (2015)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1895587/. It is a serious drama about sexual abuse in the Catholic Church and is rated R
Watch the film and identify which film you reviewed and at least four characters in the film by name. Please pick characters with names and who have more than one scene in the movie so you have examples to support your observations. In the form of a 2-4 page paper (double spaced) identify the temperament for each of the four characters and support your assertions with observations from the information on the Keirsey website and that which is covered in the lecture. A well-structured paper will include the following information.
1. Briefly introduce the film as it pertains to the temperaments as described by Keirsey. I know the plot of each but I want you to set up the context for me in terms of what is happening in the organization that is impacting the characters and why it is or is not important.
2. Introduce each of the key characters and offer a brief description of the individual and his or her circumstances, which puts their behavior into context for the person who has not seen the film.
3. Summarize your review of these characters with personal observations as to how the film assisted with illuminating temperaments in the workplace and how it relates to your own real life situations. (The goal here is to relate how the temperaments can be applied in your own work or organizational environment.)
An “A” paper for this assignment must include:
· APA format- double spaced and citation including a reference list and in text citations.
· Evidence in your narrative that understand all four temperaments.
· Evidence that you did actually watch the film.
· A demonstration that you have connected your assessment with its application in organizational studies.
This assignment is due by the end of UNIT 2-Submit the document to the dropbox for the unit. Please also review the grading rubric prior to submission to maximize your points.
