Part A 111
Rhetorical Analysis Read about rhetorical appeals and answer the questions below.
Discussion Prompt: After reviewing the materials about rhetorical appeals and the directions for the first essay and any notes from Wednesday’s class, please consider the following questions to write a posting of at least 150 words long. You will also need to respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings in responses of at least 50 words a response. Remember that your responses are a chance to continue the discussions and “chat” with your classmates.
· What was one new thing that you learned about rhetoric appeals and analysis? How might this be useful to you in the future when reading and writing?
· What is one concern you have about the first essay?
· What is one that you are planning to really work on and be aware of in this essay and/or with your writing?
· And finally, which one of the three articles do you think you might focus on? (This is just preliminary and not setting it in stone that you have to analyze this one)
