Write a professional development plan to explain your pursuit and achievement of one professional development opportunity. At a minimum, the paper should cover your initial SWOT analysis, findings from at least
five assessments taken, your post-assessment SWOT analysis, and at least one professional development opportunity that you will pursue. One of the
five assessments must be the
Critical Thinking Assessment. For each assessment you include, cite the source of the assessment, discuss the purpose of the assessment, explain the results of the assessment, and then explain how the results will help you to develop your
Professional Development Plan. The professional development plan should explain how you will prepare to qualify for or receive the credentials or experience necessary for the professional development opportunity you will pursue. The plan should be clear, and it should make sense.

While this essay is about you, it will be evaluated on the following criteria:

· The paper should demonstrate critical thinking; original ideas and insights; an understanding of the assignment; and comprehension of course concepts.

· The essay should be well organized using headings; follow APA to organize and format headings.

· A plan for professional development should be clearly presented. Does the plan make sense? Does the writer make a good case for how the plan can be executed?

· Sufficient support should be provided to develop the main premise of the essay.

· The plan should be based on the results of five or more assessments; one of the
five assessments must be the
Critical Thinking Assessment. There is no maximum number of assessments which should be included; however, you must discuss the results of at least
five.

· The essay should reflect well-developed paragraphs, with sound structure, grammar, punctuation and spelling in sentences and paragraphs.

· The essay should follow the APA style guide; include an abstract and a cover page. Begin with an engaging opening and a sound thesis statement. Provide sufficient development of the thesis and a conclusion that summarizes your paper.

· Following APA, the paper should be presented in the following format: MSWord, double-spaced, 1” margins on all sides, Times New Roman, 12 font.

· Provide a reference page which lists all of the sources mentioned in the essay, including the assessments.

· The essay will be at least 10 pages in length, excluding cover page, abstract, reference page, and appendices.

Then prepare a PowerPoint presentation that reviews your final professional development plan.
