In contrast to the traditional fast-food restaurants, Healthy Bites is dedicated to the caloriecounted food made of organic ingredients. Customers will be able to place orders via a
mobile app where they can access all nutritional details to all meals.
Mission Statement:
To ensure that healthy eating is affordable, convenient and accessible to all in Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh and appreciate fitness, health and convenience. The majority of customers are
middle-to-upper income professionals and university students who have only limited time

B. Business Philosophy
Industry Overview:
Saudi Arabia is experiencing a rapid growth in the food and beverage industry with a
growing demand towards health conscious restaurants. Healthy consumer preferences are
changing to healthy food because of lifestyle changes, government campaigns, and
increased awareness of obesity and chronic diseases.
Strengths and Core Competencies:
•
First-mover advantage as one of the first low priced healthy meal-prep services in
Riyadh.
•
Powerful branding based on trust, transparency and quality.
•
Co-founders are a source of complementary skills, one being in nutrition and diet
planning, and the other in food operations and business management.
SWOT Analysis:
•
Strengths: quality food, online menu, well known brand.
•
Threats: The small investment capital and experience in the market.
•
Opportunities: increasing health-consciousness, governmental support of SME,
wellness focus of Vision 2030.
•
Threats: Well-established fast-food restaurants, increasing prices of organic foods.
Competition:
The competitors of Healthy Bites are international fast-food chains and local restaurants.
Nonetheless, it is health-focused, transparent and convenient in digital terms unlike its
competitors. Healthy Bites can beat the competition in terms of quality and customer
interaction by providing a mobile app, meal plans, and calculating prices based on calories,
which will allow the company to make a unique value proposition.
