- Provide an overview of the health issue, target population, geographical impact, and any relevant epidemiological data (e.g., rates, affected groups or populations, etc.).
- State the local interventions that have been implemented to address the issue and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Provide a review of the health disparities related to the selected public health issue and the impact on the population. Note how these disparities have impacted the effectiveness of the intervention.
- Identify suitable data collection methods to assess your selected health issue in the defined population.
- Propose a suitable research study design to investigate the health disparities related to your public health issue and population (e.g., descriptive vs analytic). Justify your selection.
- Discuss how the findings from your proposed study might improve interventions or policies administered to better address and mitigate the issue.
