First, locate an article on the world wide web (using Google, Firefox, Safari, other web browsers), about present day vampire literature, rhetoric, film, or media that connects to Nick Marshall’s play, “The Blood is Love”. The article can be a progressive news article, op-ed article, satircal piece (satire), social commentary, etc., as long as it makes connections to vampires and vampire literature.

After reading and reviewing this article, explain why this article can work well with the other textual material in this class. What’s the topic of the article? What’s the message? What is the author (or authors) trying to emphasize in this piece? What’s the takeaway? How does this article further your thinking and preparation for our class discussions?
