Great discussion! I agree that telemedicine provides the backbone for healthcare access especially in remote underserved areas. Mobile Health is very promising as long as the patient has access to smartphones and apps that support their self-management of chronic diseases. The high rate of smartphone ownership in Saudi Arabia makes the use of mHealth a viable option for access to healthcare. The value provided by EHR systems provide by reducing diagnostic errors is very important in improving patient outcomes. What would you suggest to help speed the adoption of the cloud-based EHRs in remote communities?
