To prepare:

Review the theoretical frameworks resources.

Assignment: 1- or 2-page paper, not including title page or references page(s)

Create an Overview of Relevant Theories document that contains the following information:
- Identify the theoretical framework in each article in your annotated bibliography. If not noted there, return to the article and see if a theory is noted.
- Write a brief description of each theory.
- Select one theoretical framework from your list that you might use for your research study and write a 1-page description of it. Include who developed it, the main concepts or constructs, and cite two or three studies where it has been used in similar studies. Note: If you have identified a theory not used in any of these studies, you may choose to describe it. Be sure to include why the theory is relevant to your study and how it will influence your research design.
Note: Be aware that not all research articles include a description of the theory. If this is the case, just note in your description that it was not described.
