Dropbox for Part II Diversity: Plan to Improve Responsiveness to Diversity in School

ABSOLUTELY NO AI PLEASE-IT IS CATCHING AI EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT IS NOT AI

Design a comprehensive Diversity Plan that shows how you can make your school more responsive and proactive in acknowledging and addressing diversity.  The Diversity Plan you create is based on your learnings from this class and observations of your classroom room and school.  You are NOT allowed to use an established diversity plan. Before you can create a diversity plan for your school, you must have an understanding of the background of your school.  Research the following components of your school’s background to begin drafting a diversity plan for your school.

Each numbered item listed MUST BE a heading in your plan.

1. Develop two goals for your plan: What do you plan to achieve through implementing this plan? How will implementing these goals help improve the climate of your school?  Who will benefit from this goal being reached?

2. You need activities or strategies for each of the two goals that you will use to increase awareness of diversity in your school. What activities or strategies will you implement to increase diversity awareness in your school?  When will these activities or strategies take place?  How will they be implemented?  Who will help implement them?4. List of resources for activities and strategies-Identify the resources used in the plan.  Are they evidenced-based?  Include any websites you use.  MDE has great resources for you or What Works Clearing House.

You must use the template provided in the module as a separate document.
