Task(s)
New skill(s)
What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
This month, I was primarily responsible for a number of
significant tasks pertaining to research and analysis, social
media marketing, including market campaigns, and data
visualization and reporting.
In the areas of data reporting and visualization, I made
interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs to show data in an
understandable and captivating way. Campaign success
measurements, KPI tracking, and trend identification for
additional analysis were all made possible by these
visualizations
In social media marketing, which includes market campaigns,
I created and carried out campaigns to raise brand awareness,
encourage interaction, and boost sales on social media.
Creating content, planning postings, and evaluating campaign
performance data were all necessary to maximize tactics and
attract target audiences.
In addition, I was granted permission to carry out thorough
research in order to obtain knowledge about market trends,
rival tactics, and customer behavior. To help with strategic
decision-making processes, I also carried out exploratory
data analysis (EDA) to find patterns, trends, and insights in
our marketing and sales data.
What skills did you learn through the month?
I got the chance to learn a few fresh skills, such as:
System analysis: I learned how to examine current systems
and procedures to find inefficiencies and suggest changes
from this experience.
Time management: In order to ensure that all of my projects
were finished on time, I had to successfully priorities my
duties and manage my time while juggling several deadlines.
Analysis of reports: I improved my capacity to examine and
decipher information from a variety of reports, gleaning
insightful knowledge that will guide the formulation of
strategies and decisions.
Making Strategic Decisions: I learned to use data analysis
and research findings to guide the development of marketing
strategies and other strategic decision-making processes.
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
In the process of creating original marketing campaigns and
content concepts that appeal to target audiences, I also
improved my creative thinking skills.
Meeting(s)
Difficulty/ Challenge(s)
Learning
How many meetings did you attend?
This month, I took part in two meetings: one with my
supervisor to go over project goals and updates, and another
with the director to learn more about the objectives and
strategic direction of the company.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Mastering complex data manipulation formulas was one of
the many challenges faced this month. Another was handling
large datasets, which proved to be difficult and required
careful attention to detail and efficient processing to derive
meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
I invested time in learning and using different Excel
formulas, consulting YouTube and other online resources as
well as older colleagues to improve my skills.
I established strategies to optimize data retrieval and storage
procedures, make use of data manipulation tools, and work
with colleagues to divide up the burden efficiently in order to
optimize data processing workflows. I also asked
experienced data analysts for advice to help me become more
proficient at organizing and evaluating huge datasets.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
I learned by completing the tasks that comprehensive market
research is necessary for marketing endeavors to be
successful and that creating successful marketing plans and
campaigns requires an understanding of the complexities of
the market landscape, consumer behavior, and rival
strategies.
Additionally, I gained priceless knowledge on the need of
accuracy and precision in data reporting and visualization.
Through these efforts, I gained a better grasp of how to
monitor KPIs, identify trends, and eventually propel business
expansion in the e-commerce industry.
What did you want to learn more?
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
In order to produce more powerful and perceptive visual
representations, I’m eager to increase my understanding of
sophisticated data visualization approaches in the future. I
also want to learn more about social media advertising
strategies, namely advanced targeting possibilities, ad
optimization strategies, and data extraction approaches that
yield deeper insights. Additionally, in order to find
touchpoints and areas for improvement during the buying
process, I intend to explore customer journey mapping tools.

In the process of creating original marketing campaigns and
content concepts that appeal to target audiences, I also
improved my creative thinking skills.
