Assignment Instructions:
***All assignments are scanned by Safe Assign (
SafeAssign is a plagiarism prevention tool that allows your instructor to check the originality of an assignment submission). Please make changes to your submission if your originality percentage is too high. Only two direct quotes are allowed in this assignment (please paraphrase).
Academic writing relies primarily on paraphrasing when using evidence. Although direct quotations can help illustrate a rhetorical choice of your author, in most other cases, paraphrasing the material is more appropriate. Paraphrasing will better demonstrate your understanding and allow you to emphasize how the ideas contribute to your paper’s central argument.
***Please do not include more than two direct quotes in your paper.
***Please support your paper with peer-reviewed articles/books only.
***Please review the provided rubric.
