Complete Exercise 5.1 and Exercise 5.5 from your textbook and turn them in. These should be two separate uploaded files.
· Exercise 5.1 is “Create a flier advertising a business for which you have worked in the past or are working for now.”
· Exercise 5.5 is “Expand the flier created in Exercise 5.1 to a brochure.”
If you have not had a previous workplace, you can create a flier for this class instead.
I will be looking for the following general things, but
it is important to use the document below
before you submit your work.
· The flier and the brochure are two separate documents and are uploaded as Word documents or PDF files. (They are not linked files.)
· The flier is on a single regular-sized piece of paper and contains at least one image.
· The brochure covers the front and the back of a single regular-sized piece of paper and contains at least three images. Usually, brochures are folded in thirds, but your brochure can be folded in thirds or halves. (In other words, you can have either two or three columns on each side.)
· All images should have the source referenced. In this case, under each photo and in italics, include the word Source and the website address that you got it from (see previous video). It should look like this:
· White and gray space is balanced. Fonts are readable and are not distracting.
· The content of the flier and brochure is related. All material (including the images) is relevant to the topic chosen.
· All text is correctly spelled and punctuated.
