Part 2: Analysis
- Watch the video you selected in Part 1.
- AFTER watching the video, please write if your initial hypothesis was supported or not and why. Check Chapter 45: Population and Community Ecology to formulate your hypothesis.
- Describe the selected biome’s characteristics:
- Climate, average temperature, average precipitation, seasons (if applicable), and locations in the world (continents, countries)
- Identify 3 plants that are found in your biome and describe an adaptation they each have for surviving in the biome.
- Identify 3 animals that are found in your biome and describe an adaptation they each have for surviving in the biome.
- Identify the biome’s invasive species.
- Identify possible or current threats to the biome.
In this assignment, you must submit your complete work, including the hypothesis from Module 5. Your work must be written and presented in APA 7 format and must include the following pictures/screenshot from the video/place visited:
- Overall view/representation of the biome
- Three pictures of the plants you described
- Three pictures of the animals you described.
- Map of the biome location.
Alternatively, if you did your project based on an actual location you visited. Follow the same requirements above. Please include pictures of samples you obtained from your visit/research/investigation.
- References – include websites, books, or other resources you used to create your project, give credit to the images you used. Follow the latest APA 7 guidelines for formatting.
