For this assignment, I want you to begin thinking about potential grad school programs that may interest you.

You need to locate THREE graduate school programs in psychology or a psychology-related field that are of interest to you. The programs may be Masters or Doctoral level. (I want this assignment to be useful for YOU, so your schools can also be med schools, law schools, or whatever interests you as long as they are at least *vaguely* related to psychology.)

You are required to submit the following materials in ONE Microsoft Word or PDF document. Please paste screenshots and links into the same document as your reflection essay:

Screenshots of the THREE actual program requirements for each school AND working links to the programs.
- You do not need to complete a full application; you are simply looking through the program webpages until you find the “program requirements” page. These requirements could be the Admissions/ Application Requirements (e.g., gpa, letters) or the Program Requirements (e.g., courses & experiences that are part of the course). You’re taking a screenshot of those requirements, pasting that into your Word document, and then copying the link to paste in alongside the screenshot. Make sure that we can easily read the program requirements!
- You need to submit both a link AND a screenshot of the criteria to receive full credit. You will lose points for including only a link to the requirements.
A 1-2 page essay indicating why these graduate programs interested you:
- This essay should be approximately 1-2 typed pages and should indicate the thinking that went into your choices.
- Discuss what type of graduate programs you were interested in and looking for.
- Discuss the criteria you used to determine which programs were interesting to you. For example, why are you choosing a PhD or Masters program? Does the location of the program matter to you and why? Have you considered financial obligations? What other factors are relevant to you in your search? Why did you choose to apply to a particular school? How well do your interests and experiences fit with the program or specific advisor?
- Remember, write in full sentences (no bullet points or quotes) and check for spelling and grammar.

This assignment is due in this folder by Monday, October 27th at 8am. This assignment is worth 20 points and will be distributed as described below: • Program 1: 4 points• Program 2: 4 points• Program 3: 4 points• Essay: 8 points

More thoughtful and thorough papers will earn more points. Missing information, typos, and grammar errors will all result in lost points. Note that the iCollege dropbox will only allow you to submit ONE document, so be sure all parts of your assignment are included in the one document you submit. Additionally, be sure that you submit either PDF or Word documents, no Pages, HEIC, or other file types will be accepted.
