1. Re-read pages 78 and 79 in Koch and note what she states about single-sex classrooms. The text talks a lot about girls, but not about boys. From my past research, it was suggested that single-sex classrooms would be very beneficial for boys and girls if they were paired with teachers who know how to teach that specific gender. It was learned that this type of atmosphere not only increases student learning, but also decreases disciplinary and academic disproportionality. What do you think of the idea of single-sex classrooms?
