Week 2 Application Assignment: Biological bases of Psychopathology

Make sure to fully respond to the question and to use the
rubric to guide your writing (the rubric is used to determine your grade). Your assignments should be written in accordance with APA 6th edition guidelines and contain two professional sources (your text-book may count as one of your resources). Although there is no minimum page length requirement for this assignment, you will likely write a minimum of four pages to fully address all of the prompts.

· This assignment is worth 100 points.

· All assignments should be written in APA format. Please include a title page, the body of your paper, and a reference page. All papers should include an introduction and conclusion.

· Submit the assignment to both Blackboard by 11:59 CST on Day 7 of the week.

Report is partially accurate with at least two of the areas addressed. At least one source cited and referenced but may contain errors.

0-24 points

Question is not thoroughly addressed, is inaccurate, or more than one of the three required areas are missing. 0-1 source used but citation and reference may contain errors.

15 points Structure:
Please include a title page, the body of your paper that adequately addresses the three disparities and a reference page. All papers should include an introduction and conclusion.

13-15 points

The paper includes all five sections, well-written with clear communication of meaning. Both questions are adequately addressed.

10-12 points

The paper includes all five sections, is well-written, but lacks some clarity of meaning. Both sections are included in the paper and at least one is adequately addressed.

7-9 points

The paper includes at least four of the required sections. Writing is somewhat organized some lack of clarity of meaning is present. Both questions are included but are incompletely addressed

0-6 points

The paper includes three or less of the required sections. The writing is unclear in meaning and one question is incompletely addressed.

10 points.

Writing Mechanics and APA Grammar and Format:

Papers are written using APA 6th edition formatting and writing skills.

9-10 points

No more than three grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and/or APA errors. Clarity of paper was not influenced by the errors. 

7-8 points

More than three grammatical, spelling, punctuation, or APA errors. Clarity of paper was not strongly influenced by the errors. 

4-6 points

More than three grammatical, spelling, punctuation, or APA errors that had a negative influence on the clarity of the paper. 

0-3 points

More than three grammatical, spelling, punctuation, or APA errors that had a strong negative influence on the clarity of the paper.
