Hi
this assignment is The Standardisation Task has three sections:
First, standardise the argument of Whitehouse. 300 words
Second, construct a standardised argument of your own, responding to Whitehouse’s
argument, and arguing for an opposing view. To develop your argument, you should
draw on the sources provided below. There are plenty of reasons given in these articles
that you could use to argue against Whitehouse. Please choose three main points you find
interesting, important or persuasive, and use these as the basis of your argument. Do not
use other sources for this assignment. Although your premises should draw on arguments
from the sources, they should all be presented in your own words.
The argument you construct must include at least three main premises, and at least two
subpremises in support of each main premise. At least one of your premises should
respond directly to some part of Whitehouse’s argument. 300 words
Third, write 200 words about how you chose to respond to Whitehouse’s argument,
with reference to the radical or conservative nature of the claims you and Whitehouse
have made (in the sense discussed in lectures). Why did you choose to respond to the
claim(s) you did? Did you just respond to Whitehouse’s claims or have you introduced
new kinds of reasons? Why did you make that choice? Which parts of your argument
need the most evidence and why? You must list your word count for this section, or you
will be penalised.
total words count is 800 words
Please see the two attachments one is the article that you will need to get the answers for the task. The other attachment is the sample, please view the sample and make the task same as the sample one. thank you
