Change Over Time Paper Instructions

Change over time paper

This paper is intended to show that you understand how ideas and concepts change over time. First, choose one of the following themes:

  1. Gender
  2. Freedom
  3. Equality
  4. Race
  5. The roles of the president and congress
  6. Class
  7. The definition of “American”

Next, using primarily the Power Points, explain how the ideas and definitions behind these concepts have changed since the Civil War. You are required to use at least SIX solid examples from the Power Points (with support, if necessary, from American Yawp. The examples should relatively evenly spaced and cover the span of the class (i.e., don’t use four examples from the 1940s).  Remember, each example needs to have specific names, dates, and places if applicable.

The rubric is attached

The paper must be 750 words long, with footnotes. All I need in the footnote is what Power Point lesson and slide the information came from or what American Yawp chapter it came from.

: (My topic is freedom) as well as I need an introduction and outline in a different document!!
