1. I am conducting my research on the impact of “Restorative Practices in Middle School.” I am now doing my Literature Review which will be broken up in five parts by Themes. Each Theme must be at Minimum 5 pages with current references from 2020-2025 with the EXCEPTION of Theme I which is Historical Background. This historical background information should cover legislations and laws surrounding Restorative Practices. Restorative Practices originated from the Justice System, first being known as Restorative Justice. So, you will include in this writing how we have gone from Restorative Justices to Restorative Practices in Education.
2. I will provide you with most of the references as well as any feedback from my instructors that will be helpful to ensure the assignments are aligning as they should with requirements. We will focus on one aspect at a time. But you may need to refer back to this email in the future.
3. Here is an outline of the Themes. Each Theme needs a short Summary at the end that includes a transition statement leading to the next theme. (See very first attachment).
4. The second document included as an attachment that will be very helpful in seeing the direction I am attempting to go with my research. Hover over the red markings to see feedback from my Professor that will also help along the way. As for the problem statement I will revise and send to you later today.
5. The third document included is an attachment of the Matrix for all the references I will use. Please note: There is a need to research more references for this section the encompasses what needs to be included in this first theme assignment such as laws, legislations, etc. Five is the minimum and
can be older than 2020.
6. The fourth document included is a cohesive list of the references that will be used for the entire project.
7. The fifth Is a sample of what it should look like. Please note I have ALREADY added my headings and subheadings to this document. However, the content included
does not pertain to my research project. This document is also already formatted as it should be. If you see the need based on your research to do more subheading please do so and I will add them to my outline
8. Finally, I tried to simplify this as much as possible. Should you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out.
