Purpose:

There are several social movements of significance of the 1800’s. Temperance, Abolition, Women’s Rights, reform of of the penal system are examples. Write 400 words on one of these pointing out why it is significant and who the leaders of the movement were.

Again, cite your sources. Then do responses to two separate posters. The 400 word total is for OP and the responses.
