make a proposal based on a weighing scale, thats the object i chose for my paper. also please make up a research question for me to answer later on the paper. The part I want my paper to focus on is the psychological affect a scale has on people and the desicions people make because of it. This needs to be double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, or other common font. You will address 4 main areas of your paper using the prompts below. The first three may be in outline format, bullet point, or paragraph form, whichever you are comfortable using. The fourth needs to be in formal paragraph formatting. Please submit in either Word or PDF form. It is due before class on Friday, Feb 9th because you will be using it in class on that day. This is worth 25 points because it is an important part of your Writing Project 1 pre-writing.

Four parts: Narrative (100-200 words); History (100-200 words); (Conceptual 100-200 words); Purpose (75-125 words)

  • History: Answer the following questions in detail (100-200 words total for this section). Think of this as an annotated bibliography and thinking critically about your chosen resources.
  • Conceptual: Answer the following questions in detail (100-200 words total for this section). This is where you are going to connect the object to a culture/community/group of people that use/see/consume it.
  • Purpose: Answer the following questions in detail (75-150 words in paragraph form). This is your opportunity to paint the big picture of your essay, present your thesis via a research question, and convey anything further you want me to know.
