Assignment-3: Business Report
Scenario: You are a management trainee at ABC Ltd, a company aiming to improve
internal communication among its departments. The CEO has noticed delays in project
updates and misunderstandings between teams. You have been asked to prepare a
business report suggesting ways to enhance internal communication within the
organization.
Task: Write a formal business report to the CEO that includes:
1. Title page and executive summary (0.5 Mark)
2. Introduction – brief background and purpose of the report (1Mark)
3. Discussion/Findings – identify possible causes of poor communication (e.g., lack
of clear channels, excessive email dependence, no regular meetings, etc.)-4 Marks
4. Analysis – explain the impact of these issues on productivity and teamwork (2.5Marks)
5. Recommendations – propose realistic strategies to improve internal
communication (e.g., team briefings, digital tools, training, feedback systems)- (1
